New Delhi, India: MSME Promotion Council Chairman Dr. C Suresh, accompanied by Hon’ble Minister MSME of the Government of India, Narayan Rane, visited the ‘Festival of Manufacturing’ organized by The Times of India Group at Dr. Ambedkar Centre in New Delhi on 26th March 2023.

The event aimed to showcase India’s manufacturing capabilities and promote the country as a global manufacturing hub. It featured exhibitions, seminars, and conferences covering various aspects of manufacturing, including automation, digitalization, innovation, and sustainability.

Dr. C Suresh emphasized the importance of promoting manufacturing in the country, especially for MSMEs, to drive economic growth and development. According to the Ministry of MSME, the sector contributes around 30% of India’s GDP and employs over 110 million people, making it a vital pillar of the Indian economy. Furthermore, the MSME sector has significant potential for growth, with the Government’s focus on digitalization, innovation, and skill development initiatives.

The event provided an excellent opportunity for MSMEs to showcase their products and services, connect with potential customers and partners, and gain valuable insights into the latest trends and innovations in the manufacturing sector.

Later that evening, Dr. C Suresh attended a dinner event hosted by The Times of India Group at Le Meridian Hotel Delhi, where he had the pleasure of meeting several guests from the industry.
