The MSME Promotion Council (MSMEPC) welcomes the arrival of US President Joe Biden to India today to participate in the G20 Summit. The MSMEPC also welcomes other dignitaries from around the world who will be attending the summit.

MSMEPC Vice Chairman Dr. C. Suresh Kumar said that it is a matter of great honour for India to have the presidency of the G20 this year. He said that the summit will be an opportunity for India to showcase its economic progress and its commitment to global cooperation.

“We are confident that the G20 Summit will be a success and that it will help to promote economic growth and development around the world,” said Dr. Kumar. “We also look forward to working with the US government and other G20 members to promote the interests of MSMEs in India and around the world.”

The G20 Summit is an annual meeting of the leaders of the world’s 20 largest economies. This year, the summit will be held in New Delhi from September 9-10, 2023. The theme of the summit is “Building back better after COVID-19”.

The summit will focus on issues such as the global economy, climate change, and sustainable development. Biden and PM Modi are expected to discuss economic cooperation and multilateral investment opportunities during their bilateral meeting. According to NSC coordinator for strategic communications John Kirby, it is unlikely that they will discuss the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.

The MSMEPC is a non-profit organisation that promotes the interests of MSMEs in India.

In addition to the bilateral meeting between Biden and PM Modi, the G20 Summit is also expected to see a number of other high-level meetings, including a meeting of the G20 finance ministers and central bank governors. The summit is also expected to issue a joint statement on the global economy and climate change.

The MSME Promotion Council is confident that the G20 Summit will be a success and that it will help to promote economic growth and development around the world. The MSMEPC is also looking forward to working with the US government and other G20 members to promote the interests of MSMEs in India and around the world.
